Events - 2009
July: An afternoon of painting by artist, Eleinne Basa.and the Chester Art Walk. Eleinne will be painting informally at the gallery Saturday, July 11th from 1 - 4pm. All are welcome to watch Eleinne create a masterpiece. This is a rare opportunity to observe such an accomplished artist. There will be an Art Walk with other artists painting at each of the four other locations in Chester. Le Reve Gallery at 24 Main St. (entrance on Perry St.), i art at 87 Main St. and The Art of the Heart at 15 Perry St. will be participating. Light refreshments will be served.
August: The Art of the Female Human Form - Painting Demonstration by Lili Anne Laurin on Saturday, August 15th from 1 - 4pm at the gallery. More details to come.
October: Equine Show October 10th through November 2nd. Meet award-winning equine artist Beth Parcell Evans Saturday, October 24th from 1 - 6pm. Light refreshments will be served.
November: One Man Show featuring award-winning artist Howard Friedland, November 7th through November 29th. Artist Susan Blackwood, Howard's wife, will be conducting a 3 day workshop (dogs and cats) November 6, 7, & 8 here in Chester. More details to come.
December: 3rd Annual Holiday Reception, Saturday, December 5th from 6 - 9 pm. Meet Eleinne Basa, Lili Anne Laurin and Beth Parcell Evans. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Come enjoy an evening of art and celebrate the spirit of the season.
