Eleinne is a national award winning artist who was trained in the classical tradition of painting exclusively from life, which began at an early age of 7. Growing up in Manila, her parents entrusted her studies to a professional artist and professor who had been teaching young artists in a school for gifted children. She studied there until the age of 14. When her family immigrated to the United States in 1994, she continued to hone her skills by visiting different museums and galleries and studying works of painters she admires like Sargeant, Sorolla , Zorn, Cassat and Payne. She has studied with contemporary realist Gary Godbee and landscape artists Skip Whitcomb and Scott Christensen.
